LEGO 10497 Galaxy Explorer is an Icons Space set released in 2022, containing 1,254 pieces and 4 minifigures. It reimagines the 1979 Galaxy Explorer for the LEGO Group’s 90th anniversary, retaining the classic color scheme and blended delta wing configuration. The model features three retractable landing legs, opening rear doors, a retractable ramp, and a deployable rover with tools. Interior details include a cockpit with seating for four astronauts, living quarters, computers, storage compartments, and a brick-built robot helper.
